ABOUT M.D.D.M. COLLEGE, MUZAFFARPUR
Mahant Darshan Das Mahila College, Muzaffarpur is one of the oldest and most prestigious institutions in Bihar, known for its rich heritage and academic excellence and was established on 15th August 1946, the institution has been an alma mater for numerous young, progressive, and dynamic women. It was on 25th July, 1946, that a group of nationalists, educationists, and social thinkers like Rai Bahadur Shri Narayan Mahatha, Rai Bahadur Uma Shanker Pd., Shri Harisadan Bhaduri, great educationist Dr. J. K. Sarkar, Rai Bahadur Veereshwar Chatterjee, Shri Atulanand Sen and Shri Mahesh Pd. Singh, gathered in the premises of Chapman Girls High School, Muzaffarpur, and laid an informal base for the establishment of this institution.
This college is a constituent unit of B.R.A. Bihar University Muzaffarpur and NAAC accreditated Grade “B” with 2.84 CGPA. Our aim is to promote not only higher education but the intellectual disciplines and the search of personal value that enables its graduate throughout their lives.

There are ample opportunities for students to engage in extracurricular activities. From sports to cultural programs, the college promotes various events. It’s a great way to meet new people and develop new skills outside the classroom.

Most of the professors are very knowledgeable and supportive. They encourage students to ask questions and offer extra help when needed. However, sometimes the focus is more on theoretical knowledge than practical applications.

The academic experience at M.D.D.M. College, Muzaffarpur is quite positive. The teachers are helpful and explain concepts clearly. I feel that the course curriculum is well-structured, but there is a need for more interactive and modern teaching methods, especially in terms of digital learning.
